Plan the location

Size & Fit Guide

The model footprint is only one part of the space you need. Plan for the complete display product, the assembly area and the way the finished build will be viewed.

Use the external dimensions

Compare the verified external width, depth and height from the product page with the final location. Internal dimensions answer a different question and should not be substituted for the overall space the case occupies.

Measure in this order

  1. Final surface or wall area: record usable width, depth and height.
  2. Obstructions: include shelf lips, doors, cabinet frames, sockets and nearby objects.
  3. Working clearance: reserve space to assemble panels, use connectors and clean the case.
  4. Transfer route: check doors, corners and the path from the work area to the final position.
  5. Viewing height: confirm that the model’s important silhouette is not hidden above or below the normal eye line.

Extra checks for wall displays

Confirm the product dimensions, the wall area and the installation method specified in the supplied instructions. Wall construction and fixings vary; use components appropriate to the actual surface and installation conditions.

If dimensions are missing

Stop before checkout and request verified values for that product. Do not scale a case from a photograph or reuse dimensions from a similar set.
