LEGO Ancient Moon-Gazing Inn 80121 has more to show than its roofline. The building, balcony and figures form several levels of activity. A display position should let you follow those levels without losing the people and small details at the bottom.
Read the scene from the ground upward
Start with the figures in front, then follow the building toward the roof. In the matching display, a raised platform places the inn above the surrounding characters. Choose a viewing height that keeps both the platform and the foreground visible through the front panel.
A slight three-quarter view reveals the relationship between the front and side of the building. A straight-on view puts more emphasis on the balcony and the arrangement of figures. Compare both from the place where you will normally enjoy the scene.

Let the printed setting continue the architecture
The 80121 display case has a moonlit backdrop with lanterns and distant hills, plus a printed border around the scene. The moon provides a clear focal point beyond the building. Give that part of the background room to remain visible when deciding where the display sits in your collection.
Because the case already provides a detailed setting, surrounding it with many small decorations can dilute the composition. A simpler cabinet surface lets the roof, balcony and characters carry the scene.
Keep the figure positions readable
The display base has locating positions around the printed scene. Follow the supplied arrangement and instructions rather than spreading additional figures across every open area. From a lower viewpoint, a crowded front row can hide the platform and the building behind it.
The LEGO inn and minifigures shown are separate from the case. The photographs demonstrate the complete display arrangement, not the inclusion of the LEGO set.
Reserve space for the full scene
The product lists external dimensions of 52 cm wide, 34 cm deep and 34.3 cm high. Check the whole base against your cabinet and leave additional room for assembly and access. A surface that fits the building alone may not fit the case and foreground around it.
Use the measurement worksheet to record width, depth, height and working space separately. Match set 80121 before choosing this display rather than relying only on a general temple or inn description.
