LEGO Animals Series 28 Minifigures Display Ideas

Display arrangement for Acrylic Display Case for Animals Minifigures Series 28 (71051); LEGO models and figures sold separately.

LEGO Animals Series 28 uses costumes to turn a minifigure lineup into a collection of distinct silhouettes. The display for 71051 has a taller, shallower format than many low, two-row minifigure cases. Use the two levels as part of the arrangement rather than treating them as interchangeable empty slots.

Make each costume easy to recognise

Look at the ears, tails and larger head shapes in your collection before choosing positions. Place figures where their outlines remain separate from the neighbouring costume. An accessory held high can obscure a character on the level above or beside it.

Try a consistent ordering rule, such as colour or a sequence you use to track the collection. Then adjust any position where the physical shape interrupts the view. A readable display is more useful than an ordering system that hides a favourite figure.

Check depth as carefully as width

The Series 28 case is listed at 34 cm wide, 7.7 cm deep and 18.1 cm high. These are external dimensions. The shallow depth does not establish the front-to-back clearance for every extended arm, accessory or custom base.

Keep the costume and its chosen prop within the intended positions. Before settling on a pose, look from the side to see how far an item projects towards the cover. Keep the full case base supported on suitable furniture.

Use the vertical separation

Step back and compare the upper and lower groups. Try spreading stronger colours across both levels so that one does not dominate simply because it contains all the brightest costumes. Leave the background visible around the more complicated silhouettes.

Check from your ordinary seated or standing height. The upper level may be easy to see while a nearby object hides the lower figures. Choose the location around both viewing lines, not just the top edge of the case.

Plan access without assuming wall mounting

A shallow case can suggest several possible locations, but its proportions do not prove it can be hung. Use the installation method stated for the selected product and confirm any alternative placement before buying fixtures.

Keep enough access to reposition a costume or retrieve a small prop. Store spare accessories separately so that the visible display remains a collection rather than a parts tray. Our minifigure case checklist covers access and compatibility. The LEGO figures and accessories are separate from the display.
