A LEGO Dungeons & Dragons minifigure display can feel like an adventuring party or a collected character gallery. For series 71047, the useful starting point is the space around each character's equipment and costume. Build the scene around those shapes before deciding which figure belongs in the centre.
Choose the kind of party you want to show
LEGO's official 71047 listing describes twelve collectible characters, including an Elf Bard and a Dragonborn Paladin. Their different roles can inspire an arrangement, but the physical shapes of your figures still need to determine the final positions.
You might group a few adventurers into a shared scene, then give the remaining characters a more direct presentation. Alternatively, arrange the whole series evenly as a reference collection. Choose one approach before adding spare accessories or scenery between the figures.

Make the widest parts visible
Set out the figures with the equipment you intend to display. Compare broad headwear, shields and projecting props from the front and side. A clear outline lets the character read without depending on a label.
Face a few characters towards one another if it helps suggest a party, but keep the important faces visible from outside the case. Do not solve a collision by bending or pressing an accessory against the acrylic. Change the ordering or use a simpler pose within the intended layout.
Confirm measurements for your intended location
The 71047 display listing does not currently state complete external dimensions. Confirm width, depth and height before choosing a tight shelf location. The photographs show a layout, but they are not a reliable ruler for planning furniture.
Ask separately about a custom arrangement with raised arms or unusually extended props. An exterior height alone would not establish clearance above the rear positions. Allow space to reach those positions when assembling or changing the scene.
Make room for a changing adventure
If the display changes with your favourite characters, keep replacement accessories in a separate labelled container. You can change a small group without turning the case into storage for every unused piece. Leave the opening route accessible so rearranging the party remains practical.
The minifigure case guide helps with series matching and row visibility. Select the case for 71047 and review its question-mark-background configuration. The LEGO figures and their accessories are not included.
