LEGO Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship 10365 builds a silhouette in two directions: the long hull stretches across the shelf while masts and sails rise above it. Choose a display position where both remain complete. The ship loses much of its character when one end or the top of a mast disappears behind neighboring objects.
Compare the broadside and a three-quarter view
A side view gives the clearest relationship between the hull and sails. A slight angle adds depth through the rigging and deck. Start by moving your viewing position around the completed build, then decide which view is practical in the room.
Keep the small figures and original display arrangement in mind. If the ship sits high on a cabinet, those lower details may be harder to see even though the sails remain prominent. A little lower can bring the deck and foreground back into the composition.
Choose a horizon or a clear backdrop
The 10365 pirate ship case offers Clear and Printed Background configurations. The printed setting introduces sea and sky behind the dark sails. The clear version leaves the ship against your own room.

Compare the edges of the sails against the background from your normal viewing distance. A dark wall can reduce separation around a clear case. A bright, busy wall may add competing lines through the rigging. The printed setting creates its own scene, but you should still judge how clearly the ship stands out from it.
Measure the complete arrangement in all three directions
Record the furthest points of the finished model, including projecting parts and the intended support. Then confirm the chosen case's usable internal space and full external dimensions. Do not transfer measurements from another pirate ship or from a product with a similar title.
Furniture fit and access are separate decisions. Leave a practical route for handling the enclosure and model, and avoid a position where the shelf above forces you to work closely around the mast tips.
Keep the ship the main scene
If other maritime models share the cabinet, give each its own visual space rather than placing a smaller ship directly in front of this hull. The Maersk container vessel guide shows how a long, low ship calls for a different view from a tall sailing ship.
Confirm set 10365 and the selected background before ordering. The LEGO ship, figures and scene pieces shown are separate from the display-case purchase.
