LEGO Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber 40730 is a long, low hilt display. A useful viewing position shows the silver sections, dark grip and original name tile together. Plan it as a horizontal collectible rather than allowing a tall neighboring model to dominate the same space.
Follow the hilt from end to end
The matching photographs show the hilt lying horizontally on its model stand. A front view gives you a continuous line through the grip and metal-colored sections. A slight angle adds depth, but can make the far end less prominent.
Choose the position available from your normal seat. If the case is pushed to the back of a deep shelf, the name tile and lower part of the hilt may be difficult to see. Keep the area immediately in front free of other small objects.

Use the dark setting to frame the silver details
The 40730 lightsaber case places the hilt against a themed background. Compare the silver sections and the black grip separately when choosing its room position. Reflections from a lamp or window can change how those surfaces read through the front panel.
The green lighting effect in the scene photographs should be treated as part of the photographed setting, not as a promise that powered lighting comes with the case. Check the product's included parts for the selected display.
Measure width even for a low case
The listed enclosure measures 34 cm wide, 13 cm deep and 10.3 cm high. Its low height does not remove the need for a complete supporting footprint. Mark the rectangle on your shelf and leave extra room to assemble and access the case.
These are outside dimensions. If you want to change the model's support or angle, confirm usable internal clearance instead of estimating from the photograph.
Check 40730 before choosing the display
Luke's lightsaber name also appears on other LEGO builds. This case is matched to 40730, so do not substitute the earlier 40483 model or another character's hilt without a separate compatibility confirmation.
For a shelf mixing several compact models, the small-set display guide explains how to leave clear space around each scene. The LEGO hilt, original stand and name tile are not included with this display product.
