Display arrangement for Acrylic Display Case for Space Minifigures Series 26 (71046); LEGO models and figures sold separately.

LEGO Space Series 26 mixes explorers, robots and stranger shapes in one collection. A convincing display lets those differences remain visible. For 71046, start with the widest accessories and tallest silhouettes, then organise the smaller characters around them instead of filling the positions in an arbitrary order.

Sort by the space each character occupies

LEGO's official Series 26 page identifies twelve characters, including Spacewalking Astronaut, Alien Tourist and Flying Saucer Costume Fan. Their different outlines suggest different spacing checks: a handheld prop, a projecting costume and a helmet do not occupy the same envelope.

Set out your figures with the accessories you actually want to show. Look from the front and the side before placing them in the case. An accessory that clears a neighbour when viewed head-on can project much farther towards a panel.

Give the purple star field room to work

The Series 26 case uses a purple printed background. Keep a visible outline around the space characters rather than letting several props cross in front of one another. A single character turned slightly towards a neighbour can suggest a scene without turning the whole lineup away from the viewer.

Stand back to the intended viewing distance. If a dark figure merges with the rear artwork, try another permitted position or angle. The goal is to distinguish the characters, not to make every figure face exactly the same way.

Plan a low, two-row view

The case is listed at 29 cm wide, 13 cm deep and 12.3 cm high. These are the whole-case measurements; they do not specify the clearance available above each individual tier. Compare taller characters and raised accessories with the pictured arrangement and ask about an unusual pose before ordering.

A shelf near the viewing line helps both rows stay legible. On a very high shelf, the front figures or lower case edge can hide details behind them. On a low desk, nearby equipment may interrupt the same view from another direction.

Build a collection rather than an obstacle course

Leave the figures easy to remove if you rotate favourites or add the final missing character. Keep spare accessories elsewhere rather than stacking them between the display positions. Use the minifigure display checklist for mounting, opening and fit questions.

The display listing is matched to 71046 and its purple star configuration. The figures and their accessories are not included with the case.
