LEGO UCS AT-AT 75313 Display Guide: Balance Height and the Ground Scene

LEGO UCS AT-AT 75313 creates two display challenges at once: the walker needs height, while its feet, figures and information plaque need a clear view near the base. A high shelf may show the body dramatically but hide the ground scene. A display position that reveals both is more useful than simply finding the tallest empty space.

Check the complete enclosure height

The CubeBuff case for 75313 lists external dimensions of 76 × 42 × 65.3 cm. Compare the whole footprint with the furniture and measure upward from its top surface. The 65.3 cm enclosure height is not an allowance for opening the case beneath another shelf.

Check the furniture's load rating for the combined display and model, and confirm that the entire base is supported. Leave room for the assembly and access method specified with the case. Planning the empty enclosure's position is easier than moving a completed walker between narrow shelves.

Find a view that separates the legs

A broadside view shows the long body and head clearly. A modest three-quarter viewing position can make the legs easier to distinguish, but too much overlap may hide a foot or make the body seem shorter. Compare these views from the doorway and your normal seat.

Choose the supported pose first and measure it as displayed. Do not assume that a different head angle, leg position or added scenery will fit because the set number matches. The model needs clearance around the head and projecting details, and any support method must follow the product instructions.

Give the ground scene a clear foreground

Arrange figures and the plaque where they can be seen without blocking the walker's feet. A low foreground helps communicate the model's height. Avoid crowding every available part of the base with extra pieces; leave visual gaps so individual figures remain recognizable.

The product photographs show a white base insert that creates a snow-like ground plane. Check the selected version and included components on the product page. Models, minifigures and accessories pictured with a display are not automatically included with it.

Choose how much of Hoth to bring into the room

Printed Background creates a dedicated snowy scene. Clear allows the AT-AT to sit within a larger collection without a separate scenic panel behind it. In either case, look for contrast around the gray body and legs from normal viewing distance.

Keep neighboring tall models away from the head end of the display. They can interrupt the walker's silhouette even if they never touch the case. If several Star Wars models share the furniture, align their displays to keep the foreground readable rather than forcing every case to the same visual height.

Plan the setup before lifting the model

Clear a working surface, assemble and inspect the empty case, and follow the supplied instructions for placing the model. Our shelf measuring guide covers the furniture check; the background guide helps with the scenic decision. Confirm exact compatibility with UCS set 75313, not another AT-AT build.
